Thank you for your interest in GramWeb village website.

You are welcome to become a GramWeb Union Information Entrepreneur (UIE) of your union and develop your union website. Union being the lowest official administrative region in Bangladesh, GramWeb is currently working on union instead of village. To complete the UIE signup process you will need to go through the following three steps.

Who Can Apply?(Application Criterion)

Any one who:

(1) is 18 (eighteen) year of age or above.
(2) is originally from the union applying for.
(3) have at least SSC or equivalent education.

What Documents Are Required To Submit?

(1) Completed subscription forms (3 copies)
(2) 3 (three) copies of passport size photograph
(3) Photo copy of National ID or Passport or any authentic document(s) that identifies your photo and the date of birth
(4) Union Parishad Chairman's certificate verifying your native union
(5) Photo copy of SSC or equivalent certificate
(6) A Demand Draft (DD) or Pay Order (PO) of Taka 1500/- from any authorized Bank in the name of "Grameen Communications" as "Annual subscription fee for GramWeb Union Website“. In case of manual submission by visiting our office, you can pay by cash.

(!) GramWeb is a Social Business concern. It's main purpose is to serve the unreached people by providing Information services and creating business opportunities for them. This subscription fee is just a token money to cover up a little portion of the cost of this project. Thus, the objective for charging this subscription fee is not to make profit.

(1) GramWeb Union website that includes –
  (1.1) Website template with Content Management System (CMS)
  (1.2) Hosting support with unlimited web space
  (1.3) Union Baseline Information (statistical index as of BBS)
  (1.4) Village Information Profile (VIP) documents
(2) GramWeb Email account
(3) Technical support for website operation
(4) One time training on VIP and data collection methodology
(5) One time technical training on data upload process and site management techniques
